One of the most fundamental choices in fantasy sports is who to play on a given week. The dreaded Hines Ward/Donald Driver debate is a classic. Or which outfielder is gonna put up the numbers, Upton or Stubbs? There are many factors that go into the decision and one wrong play may cost you a playoff berth. It goes without saying that you ALWAYS play your studs. Don’t try to get cute and play matchups like so many people do. Studs have track records for a reason and the one week you sit them, they will put up monster numbers on your bench. There are exceptions to every rule… except this one. Ask anyone and they will tell you that the one week they sat AD against a stingy Pit run D is the one week the defense got torched all season. Now that we have that straightened out, this is where the real skill comes in. The decision on which second tier players to put in your lineup is where weeks and seasons are won and lost. This can be a lot like buying a car. You do your research, weigh all possible options and then make a sound decision. The problem is that the car may look and sound the part but she could be a lemon once you drive off the lot. The real answer on Who to Play is go with your instincts and if those have proven to suck in the past then send us your team and we will go with ours.
